Every morning I take my dogs for a walk along the Bow river here in Cochrane, Alberta. Each day and every season has much to inspire me but this year we have had an exceptional fall season filled with misty mornings, autumn leaves and beautiful landscapes. The river bank is home to many gnarly trees that loom high reaching above the river through the mist and I've taken many a photo of these majestic giants.
This piece invites you to lose yourself in the serene stillness of nature, where bare trees reach out into the mist embodying the peaceful solitude of these misty autumn days, a poignant reminder of nature's beauty in hushed moments.
 
This piece measures 26" by 9.75" and was created using my signature technique of layering hand painted artwork with resin to give depth and the illusion that you could really get lost in the fog.
